Adventure
There are lots of things you can do in Linville or you can just relax and enjoy the scenery and night sky. If you are after an adventure here are some things to consider.
Brisbane Valley Rail Trail
The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail goes directly through Linville and across from the Linville Hotel you will see the Linville Station which has been recently restored. The trail is popular for cyclists, walkers and horse riders.
Heading north to trail climbs the Blackbutt range and you will experience sections of grass trees, rainforest, eucalypt and pine plantations. From a wildlife perspective expect to hear Bellbirds and Whipbirds. If you are lucky, you may hear or see Black Cockatoos. You will see heaps of cattle and likely to see wallabies. The trail goes through the towns of Benarkin and Blackbutt and finishes at Yarraman, but you can go further if you are still feeling adventurous.
Heading South you will experience eucalypt forests, some sections of grass trees and open farm land. If you are lucky you may see a koala between Linville and Moore as well as further south.
